    How to Apply for a Substitute Position

    step1 Fill out an Employment Application

    There are two ways to submit an application: Click this link: Online Substitute Application. orprint it and fill it out, then bring it by our offices.

    step 2 After Approval

    Once the application has been approved, you will be contacted and given information to have fingerprinting requirements completed.

    step 3 New Hire Packet

    Once your application and fingerprints are approved, you will need to go by the administrative office and pick up your New Hire packet.

    step 4 Complete the required online compliance training

    This can only be done once your application has been approved and the fingerprint process has been completed. You will have 30 days to complete the compliance courses through our Education Service Center (Region 10).

    You must create an account with Region 10 before enrolling in the following online courses:

    Legal Issues: FERPA and Copyright Law - 2017-2018

    Bloodborne Pathogens - 2017-2018

    Legal Issues: Sexual Harassment - 2017-2018

     You are required to submit completion certificates for each course. You may email certificates to Melanie Rotenberry or print and return them to the WPISD Administration Office.

    If training is not complete after 30 days from  start of substitute work, you will be de-activated in the Aesop substitute program until required compliance courses are completed.
