Hello! I'm so excited to be in Wills Point and ready to dig in and make roots. I am falling in love with this district and look forward to the adventures and families I'll meet.

My spark for teaching started in 2010 while long-term substituting in my son's pre-K classroom. I started my college education at that time, working on my degree in Botany and early chi8ldhood education. After graduation, I accompanied my husband, Justin, in his Marine Corps career until his retirement.

Following Justin's retirement, my family and I returned to Texas. At this time, I returned to school to receive my teaching certificate for the State of Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, Early Childhood through 6th Grade in May 2017. I also double majored in Special Education at all levels.

Shortly after graduation, I started teaching for Sulphur Springs ISD. I taught third grade for four years. After completing my Master's degree in Educational Administration, I relocated to this area. I am very excited to be teaching first grade and become part of this community with my family.
