Mr. Mark Kellogg
This is my second year as an Ag Mechanics Teacher but my twentieth year in education. I previously taught PE, Health, and Driver Education for 13 years in Wisconsin. I spent 5 years as an administrator at two Texas Schools before serving a year as the Maintenance Director at Wills Point ISD. When the opportunity came available to teach Ag Mechanics at WPHS, I felt a calling to help kids learn the joys of working with their hands to build and create. My experiences outside of education include: growing up on a farm, serving in the Army and working various jobs in the trades over my work career. I have a natural ability to fix and build and I have a strong desire to share my knowledge with kids in the hope of improving their lives.
Please don't hesitate to call or email if you have questions! We welcome guests to stop by the shop and see what we are fabricating. I hold office hours from 6:30 to 7:50 and 4:00 to 5:30 M-F. I welcome pre-high school age students to get involved in Ag Mech. We hold a lot of open shop hours for students to come by and work on their skills or build something for the fair.
