My name is Tammy Whitaker and I'm excited to begin my 2nd year at WPHS! 

I am currently teaching Geometry & Geometry Honors - so fun! I will also be officially launching the expanded Education and Training program through a state-funded grant designed to encourage our students to pursue a career in education and then bring their talents back to Wills Point to join the staff at one of our own amazing schools! Before joining the WPHS family, I was the Instructional Technologist for the district; This is my 5th year in Wills Point and 19th year in Education. 

My expectations are high and the support is endless.  My job is to provide opportunities for thinking, learning and challenges and we will use the math to stretch and grow.  I hope each student takes advantage of that opportunity!

I am a wife to Kevin for 31 years, mother to 2 awesome young ladies and 1 incredible young man, all with Bachelors degrees - with my son beginning his teaching career this year in Princeton ISD, teaching Chemistry!  I love being a Granny to my sweet one-year-old granddaughter and 2 bonus grands I get to spoil... I love them all so much!  I enjoy glamping in our RV, love raising my chickens which give me tasty gifts each day and I enjoy living in the country (Poetry) with my husband with occasional visits from the kids and grandkids.
