Welcome to Fifth Grade Music!

My name is Linda Roberts and this is my 30th year teaching elementary music.  I taught the first 5 years in Mesquite ISD and I have taught elementary music in Wills Point ISD for 25 years.  I earned my a Bachelor of Science degree in Music in 1989 and a Master of Education degree from Texas A&M Commerce in 1996. 

I play the fiddle and I enjoy singing and playing bluegrass music with my family.  My husband's name is James and my adult children's names are Justin and Kathryn.  I  enjoy spending long weekends and vacations on my property overlooking Table Rock Lake in the Ozarks of northern Arkansas. 

I have 7 dogs and my family has been raising mini/medium goldendoodles for 14 years. 

I love how the music experience in my classroom provides my students the opportunity to learn more about themselves and others.
