Mr. Myers is the Director of Percussion for the Wills Point Independent School District. He is currently in his 5^th year of teaching and 1^st year at Wills Point ISD. Prior to his appointment at Wills Point, Donald was the Director of Percussion of the 3A State Finalist, Redwater High School Band. During his time at Redwater, he assisted in leading the band to 2 consecutive State Finals appearances in 2019 and 2021. His groups at Redwater have received high remarks and have won high percussion awards in various competitions in Texas.

Mr. Myers earned his Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Music Performance from Northwestern State University of Louisiana where he studied exclusively under Mr. Kenneth Green and Dr. Oliver Molina. While at Northwestern State, Donald was a graduate assistant and a percussion arranger for the Spirit of Northwestern Demon Marching Band.

When Mr. Myers is not teaching, he is also a music arranger, consultant, and sound designer for various groups across the United States. Groups he has been involved with have made the State Marching Band Championship Finals, Bands of America Regional Finals, and WGI Championship Finals.

Mr. Myers is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Association of Texas Small School Bands, Texas Bandmasters Association, Percussive Arts Society, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Donald enjoys spending time with his fiance, Isabella, and their cat and two dogs, Tigger, Daisy, and Maggie at their home in Winnsboro, Texas.
