I am the music teacher at Earnest O. Woods Intermediate. I teach music to all students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. Students attend music with their homeroom class once a week for 50 minutes.  

This is my 25th year teaching music at Woods Intermediate and my 26th year of teaching. I am a 1997 graduate of Stephen F. State University with a Bachelor in Music Education. I have also successfully completed my certifications in Orff Schulwerk- Levels 1, 2 & 3. 

I am married to Roger and I have 2 beautiful daughters, Grace (20) and Emily(18). We share our home with Molly, our lab, 2 cats (Star & Sierra), a pet turtle,a Silkie chicken, Tillie, and Petey, an Old English Bantam rooster! I stay busy watching my youngest daughter participate in the marching band at Tarleton State University and visiting my oldest daughter in college at Texas A&M-College Station during the school year, but when I have free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, swimming with my best friend, Lucie, at her pool or binge-watching my favorite TV shows on Netflix!
