Mr. Robert V. Gail Jr.

I am starting my 16th year teaching and 17th year coaching.  I hold a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Houston at Clear Lake and I completed my undergrad at Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Exercise Sports Science and a minor in Special Education. I started my career S.C. Lee Junior High teaching Resource Language Arts in Copperas Cove, Texas where I coached Heisman Trophy Winner Robert Griffin.  After Copperas Cove, I coached college football at Southwest Minnesota State.  Then, I went on to  teach and coach at Pearland, Sam Rayburn in Pasadena, La Marque, Danbury, Van Vleck, and Santa Fe.   I currently teach Economics and Advanced Placement Macro Economics.  My conference period is seventh period.  I am also the Assistant Head Football Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach for the Tigers.  In addition, I am the Head Powerlifting Coach at Wills Point and hold a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  I have been married to my wife, Christy, for 12 years and we have three children Trey who is a fourth grader, Sydney a second grader, an Lexi who is a first grader.  I enjoy spending time with my family, lifting weights, shooting, and am about six months away from getting my purple belt in Brazilein Jui-Jutsu.  I plan to compete in a Highland Games this spring at one of the local Scottish Rights Festival in the Metroplex.
